Mary Pattillo: The Future of Black Metropolis

 

Mary Pattillo is the Harold Washington Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at Northwestern University. She studies race and inequality, housing, urban politics, education, and stratification within the black community. She is the author of two award-winning books, an edited volume, and dozens of other scholarly and popular publications.

Pattillo’s talk was sponsored by the John Brown Russwurm Distinguished Lecture Series.
